Feel free to browse my travelogue, though it is as much a personal record to remember everywhere I’ve gone as it is a site for others to view. The links on the years connect to pages with pictures.

States and countries I have lived in or visited (alphabetical order)

Arizona: (1988) – Though I’ve driven through the northern tip of Arizona more times than I can count, it’s only been a destination one time that I know of – and that time was when I was only 3 years old, so I can’t remember it.

California: Los Angeles (1993, 2000, 2002, 2003) – California was the big vacation destination for me as a kid, as it is for many people living in the American West. My first time was a trip to Disneyland with my immediate family, cousins, and grandparents in 1993. I went back to the LA area several times as a teenager: in 2000 to a high school jazz band festival (also visiting Disneyland again); in 2002 with my mom and younger sister (her dance group performed in Disneyland); in March 2003 with my friend Nate’s family (to Disneyland again!); in May 2003 with my senior graduating class (Six Flags); and a third time in 2003 with the Upward Bound group (again to Six Flags, and also to a taping of “Wheel of Fortune”).

California: San Diego (2001) – I visited San Diego with Upward Bound in summer 2001. We went to Sea World, the zoo, and several museums. We stayed at the UCSD dorms.

Colorado: Denver (2007) – I’ve been in the Denver airport for layovers many times, but I’ve never flown to or from there. My only time visiting was a road trip in August 2007 for an open house celebrating the wedding of my dear friends Shaun and Lanette.

Florida: Naples (2011) – A sunny week in Florida hit the spot in January 2011. We visited Naples, where my brother-in-law and his wife were living at the time. My mother-in-law was staying in town for the winter, so we had a free place to stay!

Guatemala (2004-2006) – I lived in Guatemala from August 2004 until June 2006 as a missionary for my church. What an amazing experience! I lived in Guatemala City from April 2005 until April 2006. I lived in 3 other villages during my time there (Palencia August – November 2004; Santa Cruz Verapaz/Valparaiso; Sayaxche April – June 2006). I was able to visit the beautiful San Cristobal Verapaz, Coban, and the famous Mayan temples in Tikal.
